BowiElvis Fest IS officially 15 years old!

BowiElvis Fest is a music and art-fueled party thrown by Splice Records

The festival is our best attempt at honoring the shared birthdays of rock legends David Bowie and Elvis Presley, two of the most loved and influential artists of the previous century. True characters and legends of rock n’ roll. The music goes all night on two different stages featuring multiple local and regional up-and-coming bands from the surrounding areas. We love showcasing local talent that want to honor the two icons by mixing their sets with cover songs from both artists along with their originals tunes. From “Guitar Man” to “Starman” and all the golden years in between, each year’s event will be more fun than you can shake a hip at.

Music fans young and old are welcome. BowiElvis Fest is held at The Continental Club, Houston, TX and Shoeshine Charley's Big Top Lounge on January 6th with two indoor stages and 1 outdoor stage, full lineup of bands, Burlesque, face painting, "THE" Costume contest, prizes, food and a lot of nostalgic moments. Doors open at 6:30PM and we end when the music can go no more. Also enjoy food provided by KITCH Catering featuring two sandwiches for purchase at the club: "The King" which is Elvis's favorite Bananas Peanut-butter and honey grilled sandwich... and the "Bowie" (which is a Croque Madam - gruyere cheese, ham and a fried egg).
